From one bathroom to five – our latest project in the Alpes-Maritimes

The family have lived in France for 20 years and were looking for their perfect property for some time: seven years to be precise! The house they purchased is quite new – around 10 years old – modern, with great views and a swimming pool they can relax in and enjoy. However, although the location was ideal the property did not meet their needs, so they approached us to design and undertake their project.

One of the issues with the original layout and facilities was the limited number of bathrooms in the property – it had just one. The family, consisting of a couple and two children, had a requirement for a master bathroom, separate ensuite bathrooms for the children as well as a guest facility.

Using the same footprint, we carefully reconfigured the internal space to create the additional bathrooms, including showers, with each having a distinctive style and color, as well as different types of tiling. For example, one is fitted with classy metro tiles and another with elegantly positioned glass.  The couple loves Victorian period fittings so one of the bathrooms has classically styled basin and taps. The family are delighted with the result: one bathroom is now four, of which all are ensuite, plus an entrance toilet room.
